EXPANSION JOINT

Step 1
Position expansion joint in desired location and drive in the supplied pegs.

Step 2
Adjust the expansion joint to the correct height and secure by tapping in the supplied wedges.

Step 3
Push dowels through the foam at the centre of the pre-punched holes in the metal profile and twist sleeve 900 to fix in place.

Step 4
Place reinforcement and pour concrete to both sides of the joint. Finish concrete surface to the top of the expansion joint (NOT OVER IT). Always pour concrete evenly to both sides of the joint and ensure concrete is compacted into the sides of the joint

Ideal for any and all continuous pour applications where the need for expansion is required. Why do a stop pour?

Note
The 12mm sleeves can also be nailed to timber formwork for use at construction joints.
