When setting the height of the key joint allow the appropriate set down distance.
KJCAPR (retained) = 3mm
KJCAPT (tear off top) = 4mm

Push the capping strip firmly on to the top of the key joint.

Place the reinforcement and pour concrete evenly to both sides of the key joint and finish surface to the top of the capping (NOT ABOVE IT). Always pour concrete evenly to both sides of the joint and ensure concrete is compacted into the keyways.
