REBATE MOULDS

When setting the height of the key joint allow the appropriate set down distance.
KJRM 12 x 12 = 14mm
KJRM 20 x 10 = 12mm

Ensure clip section of Rebate Mould is on the correct side to clip over the rolled edge of the key joint. Push the Rebate Mould firmly onto the top of the key joint.

Place the reinforcement and pour concrete evenly to both sides of the key joint and finish surface to the top of the Rebate Mould (NOT ABOVE IT). Always pour concrete evenly to both sides of the joint and ensure concrete is compacted into the keyways.

When concrete has cured sufficiently, gently remove the top section of the Rebate Mould.

A "bond breaker" backing tape should be applied to the bottom of the exposed rebate before sealants are applied.

Apply masking tape to both sides of the joint before injecting the flexible sealant or semirigid filler material. Smooth off excess sealant and peel back masking tape immediately after applying sealant.
