The Connolly DuraJoint® range includes two innovative products: DuraJoint® KJ, a continuous pour joint system, and DuraJoint® EXJ, an expansion joint system. Both solutions are specifically engineered to meet the growing demands of urban infrastructure projects such as walkways, cycleways, and driveways.
Designed for durability and compliance
Manufactured with corrosion-resistant materials and non-metallic components, Connolly DuraJoint® systems offer long-term performance and safety. Both products exceed the requirements of AS 3727.1:2016 Residential Pavements, delivering high quality and peace of mind for specifiers, contractors, and asset owners alike.
DuraJoint® KJ enables continuous concrete pours without compromising joint integrity. Its unique tongue profile provides positive load transfer while minimising surface stepping and tripping hazards. The inclusion of non-metallic accessories also reduces issues caused by tree roots or soil heave.
DuraJoint® EXJ allows for up to 10mm of expansion and includes Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) dowel bars to maintain structural load transfer. It features a patented twist and lock mechanism, ensuring fast and accurate sleeve installation on site.
“DuraJoint came from listening to the real challenges faced by contractors and councils, especially in areas where corrosion is a constant issue. We wanted to create something that not only solved those problems but was also easy to work with and built to last. It’s about making better pavements that stay safer for longer.”
